Taco Soup becomes Taco Chili

This epic fail turned out pretty decent, surprisingly.  It was supposed to be taco soup, made from a friend’s recipe.  I was missing a few ingredients and improvised, producing what you see above.  I had so much left over, I used it to fill scoops and put them on crackers.  Note to self: next time, make less.

1/2 pound of ground meat, browned
1/2 pound beans
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can tomatoes with green chilies
1 tablespoon of cayenne pepper
3 tablespoons taco seasoning
1 diced jalepeno, seeds removed
1 tablespoon of minced garlic
1 small diced onion
Enough water or stock to cover it all

I threw it all in the crockpot on low at 5am, switched to high at noon and served at 5pm.
