1 cup bruschetta mix:
(2 tomatoes and 1 onion diced with 1 tablespoon each of olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and chopped basil & parsley)
1 lb. ground meat (lean beef or turkey)
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1 cup bread crumbs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix meat, egg, milk, 1/2 cup of bruschetta mix, and balsamic vinegar. Mix well, then work in bread crumbs until patties can be formed. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in skillet over medium heat. Cook burgers about 5 minutes on each side, then transfer to lined baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes.
Top each burger with 1 tablespoon of bruschetta mix, cover with cheese, and return to oven until cheese is melted.
Place hamburger buns on a greased baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes. Assemble and add your favorite toppings and/or side dishes.
